Hubby not giving enough time to wifey, she decides to strike back! In a strange incident reported from Pune last week, a 32-year-old woman manipulated her husband’s email ID to send a bomb threat to an IT firm in Kharadi.
The reason given by the woman later was that she was angry with her husband for not giving her enough time and attention. She was later arrested on Tuesday by Pune police.

Case:
The city of Pune is busy with G-20 meet and some palkhi processions where most of the police was deployed. As per a Pune Mirror report, on receiving the email claiming that a bomb had been set off on the property of an IT company, the police immediately arrested the man (woman’s husband) from whose ID the email was sent.
After questioning him, the police learnt that he had recently resigned from the same company to whom the email had been sent.
IP Address Reveals Real Culprit
When the Pune police traced the IP address of the device through which the bomb threat had been sent, the same did not belong to the detained man. After investigating the matter in detail, the police learnt that the man’s wife had used her tablet to send this misleading email.
Soon, the woman was detained where she confessed to her crime.
Motive
The accused woman works as an English teacher at a private coaching institute in Kondhwa.
The accused woman’s husband had earlier sought divorce from her, but the matter was resolved mutually and the divorce never happened. The woman now claimed that her husband ignored her and was not giving her enough time and attention, hence she sent a bomb threat mail to his ex-employer to teach him a lesson.
A case has been registered against the woman at the Chandan Nagar police station under Section 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under relevant sections of the IT Act.
