Couple of days ago, we reported a tragic case from Mumbai where a stock broker ended his life, after allegedly hanging his minor daughter. In his suicide note, he blamed his wife and in-laws of harassment.
Now, as per latest media reports, the Kalachowkie police booked the wife and others in a case of abetment to suicide.
Jodhpur: Family Of Seven Die By Suicide Due To Wife’s Extra-Marital Affair; Paramour Arrested
Case:
42-year-old Bhupesh Pawar died by suicide on Tuesday after allegedly killing his 11-year-old daughter at their Lalbaug residence. Pawar in his last note blamed his 38-year-old wife Bhagyashree for driving him to take this extreme step.
Speaking with Mid-day, an official from the Kalachowkie police station said:
The suicide note has the date of April 20 which makes it clear that he didn’t do everything in an hour. The suicide note also has details of who will get what share of cash and shares.
The other page of the suicide note mentioned that Pawar didn’t believe anyone would take care of his daughter following his death, reported Mid-day.
Speaking with media, another police officer shared,
The deceased has mentioned his wife, in-laws, her brother and few more people, including a few from the nearby Ganpati mandal as responsible for his death. The deceased also urged the cops to investigate and fix responsibility.
A complaint was subsequently registered by Pawar’s brother. DCP (Zone 4) Dr Pravin Mundhe informed media,
We have received a complaint from Pawar’s family member and based on that we are in the process of registering an FIR against his wife and others. As the investigation progresses we will add more names if necessary.
According to another report by Hindustan Times, the police said the couple was estranged as the man suspected that his wife was having an extramarital affair.
