Woman Empowerment 10.0 reported from Karnataka! A marriage from the state was called off for this bizarre reason.
Here’s What Happened!
The bride hailed from Moodukonaje, while the groom belonged to Naravi. The couple was scheduled to get hitched on May 25 at Naravi. Nearly 500 guests had been invited and accordingly feast had been organised for all. And then this happened…
As part of wedding customs, the bride and groom were asked to exchange garlands. When the groom put his garland around the bride’s neck, she suddenly threw it away and walked out of the wedding hall. Wait for the reason…
The bride said she was furious since the groom’s hand touched her neck while he was garlanding her.
Soon there were heated arguments between the two families and the bride’s relatives even tried to pacify her. However, when all attempts failed, police was called to intervene.
The cops tried to mediate between the two parties, but the groom’s side did not budge and finally called off the wedding. The food prepared for the wedding was distributed among local schools.
