District Education Officer of Panchmahal, BS Panchal said,
I got to know about this Friday morning. Other students are responsible for making it go viral however investigation is still going on. We are awaiting reports.
School Principal said parents of the two students have been informed about the incident and statements of the staff and supervisor have been recorded. He quoted:
We will question students, staff today, since Sunday was a holiday. We will get clarity on the incident after everyone is spoken to.
This is not the first time such an incident has been recorded and made viral from the premises of a school. In November 2018, two teachers were caught kissing inside the classroom in Gujarat. The incident took place in a government school in Dahod district and an inquiry had been launched into the matter after a video showing them cuddling and kissing went viral.

In this case too, the videos were purportedly recorded in the classroom of the school situated in Bhaman village and were then shared on online platforms like WhatsApp and other online media.
Social media is a double edged sword and the misuse of the same can be extremely harmful to the basic fabric of our society. As far as the incident of students that has been reported last week, we hope there is a fair enquiry into the matter without any gender bias since both children are minors.
