A shocking and chilling incident has been reported from Uttar Pradesh where a man who caught his wife in an intimate position with another man, was physically assaulted by the woman.
The case has come to light from Meerut last month.
Background
In order to meet with her paramour daily, wife used to add sleeping pills to the food of her children and husband. After all of them would fall unconscious, she would then invite her lover every night.
However, on September 25, the routine was interrupted when the husband suddenly woke up in the middle of the night and caught his wife and her lover in an objectionable position.
When the husband opposed to this, the woman allegedly threw acid on his genitals in order to rescue her lover. She then hurriedly hid her paramour in the bathroom of the house.
The husband was screaming with pain and the neighbours who heard him, rushed into his house. They immediately informed the police about the situation. All three children were asleep due to the effects of the drugs.
The police immediately transferred the victim and his children to the hospital. The woman and her lover are in police custody as of now. The officials have recorded the statement of the victim husband and also of the children. The accused wife and the paramour are being interrogated.
Several such cases go unreported by the English media. Crimes by women can be equally terrifying, however, the same are mostly downplayed.
