Vadodara Woman Elopes With Lover Taking Along Twin Sons | Husband Alleges No Action From Police To Trace Her, His Children

A man from Vadodara, Gujarat, has filed a police complaint against his wife, after she eloped with her 18-year-old boyfriend taking along both their children.

Since the police failed to trace whereabouts of the woman, the husband has now approached Commissioner of Police for assistance.

Case:

Mahesh (name changed) got married to Palak, 24, (name changed) five-years ago. The couple has three and a half-year-old twin sons. 

On November 26, the wife allegedly eloped with her 18-year-old boyfriend and also took both children along with her. According to the husband, who is a resident of Narayandham Society in Khodiyarnagar area of ​​Vadodara city, CCTV footage reveals that the young paramour came in an auto, and subsequently, his wife with both sons, went along with him. 

Thus, Mahesh filed a police complaint on November 28 demanding search and safe return of his sons. But husband and his family allege that the police was not interested in looking out for the woman or his children. Now, after nearly 15-days of missing wife and children, the husband was compelled to meet with the commissioner of police in the matter. 

Background:

Husband and his family allege that Palak fell in love with one Xth class fail student. They also alleged that the young man would frequently visit Palak at her residence, but the wife had refuted the claims earlier. 

According to the family members, Palak left the house with 4 tolas of gold as her lover has no income or bank balance. They suspect that Palak and her lover had sold off jewelry earlier for Rs 1.5 lakh to a jeweller in Mandvi.

Man and his family are worried for the children and want police to search for them at the earliest.
