In yet another tragic case reported from Odisha, DJ Azex also known as Akshay Kumar, was reportedly found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. DJ Azex’s body has been kept in the Capital hospital mortuary and further investigation is on by the police.
Case:
As reported by Odisha TV, the exact reason behind DJ’s death is unclear. Kharavel Nagar police have started an investigation into the incident. As per family members, Azex was inside his room when the city witnessed a thunderstorm last evening. Later, he breathed his last at his residence.
Allegations by Family of Deceased
According to one of the family members,
There was a power cut during a thunderstorm yesterday and Azex was inside his room. When we went to call him at around 10 pm, we found his door closed. Later, we found his body hanging after we broke open the door.
Meanwhile, family members of Azex alleged murder and accused his girlfriend and her friend to be the main conspirators behind the incident.
Deceased DJ’s uncle, Bholanath Moharana said,
At around 10:30 pm yesterday, I got information about the incident and soon family members took him to a private hospital. A girl with whom Akshay was in a relationship and one of her friends are behind this.
According to Moharana, the family suspects ‘blackmailing‘ behind Akshay’s death. He added,
Everything is in his mobile phone and it needs to be verified by police.
A friend of DJ Azex friend said,
The girl was demanding money on regular occasions and was mentally harassing him along with a male friend. We want a detailed investigation into the matter as he was being harassed over some pictures or video.
Police Statement
Bhubaneswar Zone-1 ACP, Manas Gadnayak,
It appears that the deceased DJ identified as Akshay Moharana has ended his life by suicide. The mother of the deceased has lodged a complaint and a case has been registered under section 306 of IPC.
According to Gadnayak, the family members have alleged that the DJ ended his life owing to mental pressure. Gadnayak added,
Our investigation is underway and the truth will come out. All the aspects including the witness will be examined during the course of the investigation.
Reverse genders and the boyfriend would have been arrested under media pressure. However, when a man is dead, accused girlfriend goes scot free.
