A resident of Ramol, Ahmedabad, Gujarat has accused his younger brother’s fiancee and her family for driving the 24-year-old man to end his life.
Case:
Mehtab Sheikh, now deceased, used to live with his brothers in Faisal Nagar. According to his brother Imtiaz, Mehtab came in contact with one Firdaus who hailed from Faizabad, however, lived in the same locality earlier.
According to Imtiaz’s statement to the police,
Mehtab and Firdaus would talk to each other regularly and Mehtab would exhaust all his salary to fulfil Firdaus’s demands. The family tried to explain the situation to Mehtab, but in vain. In the end, they agreed to a match between Mehtab and Firdaus.
The victim’s brother also added,
Two years ago, Firdaus went back to Faizabad. Mehtab would send her money regularly. The two families met in July this year and agreed that the couple would get married in 2021.

Blogging about Equal Rights for Men or writing about Gender Biased Laws is often looked upon as controversial, as many 'perceive' it Anti-Women. Due to this grey area - where we demand Equality in the true sense for all genders - most brands distance themselves from advertising on a portal like ours.
We, therefore, look forward to your support as donors who understand our work and are willing to partner in this endeavour to spread this cause. Do support our work to counter one sided gender biased narratives in the media.
