Indian does not take domestic abuse or matrimonial violence on Men seriously. Our country has armed only and only the wives with several biased laws, that virtually trap married men as they see no exit.
Yet another tragic #HusbandSuicide has been reported from Maharashtra where a 27-year-old man died by suicide in Chalisgaon taluka of Jalgaon district by jumping in front of a speeding train – along with his two children – due to a family dispute.
Case:
Jitendra Jadhav of Borkheda in Chalisgaon district was living with his wife Pooja and two children – 6-year-old son Chirag and 4-year-old daughter Khushi. Jadhav worked as a JCB driver.
As per reports, Jitendra and Pooja were having several problems amongst themselves, and subsequently, the wife had called her brother Bhushan, and uncle Sudhakar, who then lodged a complaint against Jitendra at the rural police station.
After that, Pooja left for her maternal home along with her brother, uncle and aunt. Jitendra returned to his hometown Borkheda with his two children. Meanwhile, on Sunday, February 13, at around 8 am Jitendra took both Chirag and Khushi with him and left the village.
Suicide
According to the information received, the incident took place at Nagardevala railway station at Borkheda in Chalisgaon district.
Before taking the extreme step, Jitendra fed Vadapav to both his children at a bus stand restaurant in Borkheda. In the meanwhile, his brother and father became suspicious as Jitendra was not seen at home with his children. They started looking out for the children and Jitendra.
Sadly, at 11am, Jitendra took both the kids and jumped in front of the passing Sachkhand Express, thereby ending all innocent precious lives.
Police Investigation
Sub-Inspector of Police Shabbir Sheikh, Head Constable Madhusudan Bhavsar and Pravin Wagh conducted a panchnama after the railway police got information about the incident at Pachora.
A case of suicide has been registered with the Railway Police in this regard. There are no reports of wife’s arrest yet.
