Subash was working as a cardiologist in Yashoda hospital. The family has been staying at Gayatri Nagar in Suchitra for the past five years. According to Agaiah’s complaint, Subash had a love marriage with one Dr Lasya in 2017 by way of Arya Samaaj rites. The father told police that the girl later went to her parent’s home to persuade them to accept their relationship and had promised to return soon, however, she did not. The doctor’s parents allege that this is the main reason that led their son to end his life. Inspector M Mahesh informed the media,
We believe he was in depression and was undergoing some issues with his wife. We don’t have a suicide note. He is suspected to have consumed some poison. We are investigating the matter.
