Wife Gives Electric Shocks To Husband With Help Of Lover; Then Sleeps Next To Dead Body All Night

We have heard stories of how women can go to any extent to fight for their husband’s well-being and even life. However, there are some women who can also go to any extent — where they are not just wicked but even brutal.

One such case has been reported from Barmer city of Rajasthan where a wife has almost derived pleasure in eliminating her husband in front of her eyes. Papu Devi of Chauhatan district has electrocuted her husband by giving him several shocks.

Case:

Papu Devi was married to Manaram. According to the police, wife Papu Devi had been involved in a love affair with a young man named Hanuman Ram, who lives in the same village. When Manaram learnt about this, at the behest of Hanuman Ram, the two conspired together to eliminate husband to be able to live happily. 

But what followed was extremely cruel and painful. Hanuman Ram gave sleeping pills to Pappu Devi which she added to Manaram’s food. The paramour then brought an electric wire and one part of the same was placed in the plug and with the other part, the duo formed a round ring and tied it in the hands and feet of Manaram, who was already subconscious. The heartless wife then switched on the electricity and calmly watched her husband succumbing painfully to death in front of her.

After the man’s death, Hanuman Ram left. The woman also slept near husband’s dead body through the night and then created a furore about Manaram’s death in front of the family next morning. The woman pretended in front of the police and family, that her husband had died due to electrocution. The investigating officers also believed this story for nearly twenty days, however, on Sunday, the truth was revealed. 

According to Chauhatan CO Ajitsingh, the body was found lying in Manaram’s house on June 15. Wife Pappu Devi had confirmed death due to current shock. The police had handed over the dead body to the relatives after the post-mortem. Family members too cremated Manaram, believing it was death by mishap.

However, since the incident, Togaram, the brother of the deceased, was constantly doubting his sister-in-law. When they started confronting her, Papu Devi kept misleading them. Eventually, when the family questioned her firmly, she was compelled to reveal the truth.

After her confession, the police has now started fresh investigation in the matter.

In other story reported from Balod district of Chhattisgarh, wife has burned her husband on June 28 after the couple had minor dispute over food. The lawyer husband gave his statement to police accusing his wife, before succumbing to the burns in the hospital. The police has booked wife in the matter.
