While aiming to strike a balance between boys and girls, our governments are swinging the pendulum to the other end. At graduation, both girls and boys, around 21-years of age are ambitious and looking forward to a new life full of opportunities. However, by enabling this one up push only to girls, is clearly a gross violation of our constitution that allows equality for all.
On one end we want to keep instructing our boys how to behave, how to talk, how to respect — which is a must — but then by making them second class citizens, we as a society, are sending out a very wrong and unequal message.
