A woman from Bhopal has accused her two younger brothers of gang raping her nearly eight months ago. The 36-year-old woman, who is a divorcee, approached Misrod police station to file her official complaint in October.
Case:
The woman said that she was threatened and intimated by her parents not to approach police in the said matter. Misrod police registered a case of gang rape against both her brothers, and have also charged the woman’s parents of criminal conspiracy.
Parent’s Side
According to the police, the woman’s mother had filed a case of harassment, assault and extortion on August 22 this year and subsequently, the daughter was arrested and produced in court. The mother in her complaint had alleged that the woman was demanding that the family house should be transferred to her name.
Not just this, the woman was also demanding Rs 10 lakh each from both her younger brothers.
SHO Misrod Niranjan Sharma said that the woman who is now the victim in this case, was divorced from her first husband and divorce proceedings with second husband too are pending before court.
