The accused grandchild stated how his grandfather had tonnes of money but he wasn’t able to benefit from the same. Thus, he planned and convinced a young woman to be a part of his plan. Thereafter, the accused duo also managed to arrange for fake parents of the woman.
They then honey trapped the victim on pretext of making a ration card. The woman took the elderly man with her to her Rishi Nagar residence and introduced him to her parents. The man was then made to drink an intoxicating substance mixed with water after which he became unconscious.
When he returned to his senses, he witnessed that there were no clothes on his body. The accused fake father told the victim that he had allegedly raped his fake daughter. They also claimed to have his photos and videos in that state.
After this, they demanded Rs 10 lakh from the man and threatened him with a false rape case if he failed to pay them so.
After taking all accused into custody for two days, an amount of Rs 5 lakh was recovered from the accused grandson.
