Amity Girl Files Cross FIR Of Molestation Against Boys Who Were Brutally Thrashed Over Parking Dispute

Mayhem in Amity University, Noida, however, most mainstream media who are based a few minutes away from the location, have failed to cover this story.

Last week, Sector 39 police station in Noida registered a case against several students of the University for allegedly assaulting a group of other students both on and outside the campus in Sector 125. The students who were allegedly beaten up were identified as Harsh Yadav and Madhav Chaudhary, both pursuing their BA Political Science at the university. According to the victims, the issue started over parking a car outside the campus. Harsh then quoted,

It was around 2.30pm. I was in my i20 car and was looking to park it while a girl in her Ford Endeavour came that way. She parked her SUV in the middle of the road and when I asked her to move, she started arguing with me. I parked my vehicle elsewhere and then when I confronted her again, she started abusing and threatening me after which the argument escalated.

Harsh then added that he and his friend then went to attend classes, however, after a while, a group of four to five male friends of the girl arrived and started abusing and assaulting them in the class itself. The victims alleged that the suspects later assaulted them outside the campus as well, after which they approached the police. Harsh said,

We recognised them. They were students enrolled in a different course. Our whole class witnessed the incident. They even tried to hit us with furniture.

The victims sustained injuries, bruises and were profusely bleeding as well. Neeraj Singh, station house officer, Sector 39 police station then said,

A case will be registered once the complaint is received and we will take necessary legal action against the suspects who have been identified.

Meanwhile a university spokesperson told the media that the students have not filed any complaint with the institution directly and that they only learnt about this incident from different sources. The institution said that a proctorial committee will be formed and the matter will be investigated thoroughly.

According to reports, Madhav and Harsh are still in critical condition in the hospital. Madhav is in the ICU due to internal bleeding. Demanding justice for the boys, netizens have taken to social media seeking the arrest of the lady, because of whom Madhav and Harsh are in hospital.

Meanwhile, in a cross FIR the next day, the girl has alleged that she was molested by the two boys following which she approached her friends. Neeraj Malik, SHO, Noida Sector 39 police station said,

We have received two cross FIRs, one from Harsh and the other from the girl. We are examining the CCTV footages of the area and action will be taken after conclusive evidences.

What looks like a clear case of counter FIR, every single boy and girl awaits the truth to be told by Noida police after their investigation in this case. It is an extreme matter of concern if women are allegedly misusing molestation laws to merely save themselves from any investigation or arrests. It is not a matter of speculation here. Even if we assume the girl was molested, she did not have any right to get the boys beaten up herself? If the injured boys could file an FIR, why did she wait to file her complaint only after the boys approached the police? All these questions warrant a detailed reply.

This incident also calls for every parent to come forward and understand how their boys can also be vulnerable, wherein they are openly beaten up and then also allegedly accused if they dare to demand justice.
