Marriage – Affairs – Love Stories – False Cases – Divorce — We come across endless sagas of couples, some serious and tragic, while some laughable. Here is one such case from Gujarat where a married woman dialled Abhayam 181 helpline desperately asking for help.
This Is What Happened!
A woman from Maninagar called the helpline and said that she wanted to unite with her lover. The counsellor who was speaking to the woman, was surprised to know that she had been married since past 17-years. Speaking to TOI, he said,
The woman said that she fell in love with a youth. He had promised to marry her and had told her that she must get separated from her family. Thus, she forced her husband to give her a divorce. She created a ruckus and also got the documents.
When she approached her boyfriend two days ago, she was sent back saying that his family was against the union and accepting a married woman.
It shocked the woman who had left everything for love, they said. Realizing her folly, she went back to her husband, pleading him to accept her again. The counsellor added,
Angry with her behaviour and with the fact that she had an extramarital affair, he also refused to accept her and said that they cannot live together. As a last resort, she approached her parents. They also refused to accept her.
Allegedly under severe depression, the woman approached the helpline. The counsellors sent her to one-stop centre.

This is a reality with all buddies either he or she. It would be a perfect punishment for her to live alone bcoz they do not feel reality that what will happen on life partner or what will he reply to families or in community. After long relationship, how she can think to stay alone or choice another person or think to fall in love. I think, need to make some law on idiotic decision of her. If they have a kids, then what about of little ones?? They just arrive and enjoying a childhood time and then feel parents got separated. If couples want to separate on any of reason then it should be early decision before family planning but after kids, they do not have right to got separated as divorce law just build up for right time like harrasment or any types of fight between both but it’s not for a joke like fall in love etc
