A man who works as a nazir with a principal civil court in Dehgam, Ahmedabad, has accused his wife and her paramour of assault. The man identified as Nipam Ghavri, a resident of Vadaj has filed a complaint with local police, alleging that he was attacked by wife and her lover when he confronted them of their unlawful relationship.
As per the complaint filed by him in Vadaj police station, wife had left home on April 25, on pretext of getting medicine from their residence in Akhbarnagar. Doubting his wife’s whereabouts, Ghavri followed her and saw her with another man. The paramour was later identified as Nitin Dutt, who is also a resident of Nava Vadaj.
An official told TOI,
When he confronted the two, he was reportedly rebuffed. The duo confessed love for each other and asked Ghavri to divorce her.
Adding further the official said,
On the same day, his wife asked him to leave the residence. Ever since he lives with his parents in Madhavpura.
Ghavri also tried to approach his in-laws for their help, however, he was asked to return since they did not want to interfere in the matter.
On June 28, the man tried to talk yet another time with his wife and confront her so that they could settle things in the family. However, the talks failed as Ghavri was allegedly attacked by his wife, her parents, along with Dutt.
Matter is under investigation.

In another similar story, Ahmedabad police booked a chartered accountant woman, on February 7, 2020, for allegedly assaulting a causing hurt to husband and strangling her mother-in-law, after they tried to confront her about her affair.
The husband, who is an advocate in Sola, was suspicious of his wife with her business partner.
