High Court Rejects Bail For Mrs India Rajasthan Who Threatened Businessman In False Rape Case

Former Mrs Rajasthan Priyanka Chaudhary will have to spend more days in jail as her bail application has been rejected. Priyanka has been arrested in a honey trap case in Jaipur city, where a businessman accused her of blackmailing him in false rape case. 

Rajasthan High Court rejected her bail for the second time as she may influence the case. 

Case:

Police started an investigation against Priyanka – the 2019 winner of the Mrs India Rajasthan contest – few days ago. Chaudhary is accused of extorting a total of Rs 1.5 crore by making an obscene CD with the businessman. She had been later blackmailing him for a plot of land worth crores.

Priyanka had also filed a case of violence against the businessman on May 21 and then told him:

Yeh to trailer tha…Puri picture baaki hai. Rape ki ek line aur likh di to jeevan barbaad ho jayega

(this was just a trailer, you will be ruined if I add rape charges)

According to Jai Singh, head constable of Shyam Nagar police station said that the accused woman Priyanka Chaudhary met the businessman about five years ago and rented his house. Later, she developed relations with the man and recovered lakhs of rupees by threatening to implicate him in a false rape case. The businessman started giving into her demands fearing loss of face in society.

However, earlier this month, the businessman filed a case with the police when Priyanka was constantly demanding a 400 square yards plot from him.

Incidentally, Priyanka`s husband, who has been blackmailing the businessman along with her for a year, is a head constable in the Tonk police. This was Priyanka’s second marriage.
