In a horrific incident reported from Mumbai, a 35-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her daughter for failing to pay attention during an online class. As per media reports reports, the woman attacked her 12-year-old daughter with a pencil after she failed to answer the teacher’s questions during an ongoing session.
The Santacruz police station booked the woman for allegedly stabbing her daughter with a pencil after she failed to answer teacher’s questions during an online class. The girl is a student of Class 6.

The incident took place on Wednesday when the child was attending an regular online class. When she failed to answer one of the questions that her teacher asked, the mother got enraged. It is then that the woman stabbed her own daughter on her back with a pencil and also bit her multiple times. The girl’s younger sister, who witnessed the whole incident, then dialled the child helpline number — 1098.
Following this, two representatives from the NGO reached the girl’s house and tried to reason with her mother. However, the mother remained adamant and a case was then registered against her.
The woman had not been arrested until October 24.
