Rajasthan’s education minister Govind Singh Dotasra has been at the end of social media bashing after he remarked about female staff in schools. Speaking during an event to mark International Girl Child Day, the minister who was also the President of Pradesh Congress Committee, said,
Whenever there is more female staff in the schools, either the Principal or teachers would be taking Saridon (medicine for headache) due to staff’s internal conflicts. If they overcome this, they will be ahead of men.
Speaking further, the minister said,
I will say one thing because I am also the head of the education ministry. Female staff has lot of fights amongst themselves. Sometimes there’s a quarrel about coming late, sometimes about coming early. If you successfully overcome this, then you will always be ahead of men.
The senior Congress leader also emphasised that the state government has made policies that prioritised women and how others (men) were calling this out. He quoted:
In the selection process, promotions, women are getting priority. Others come and ask me, are we not good teachers? They tell me this is injustice.
However, social media did not play the entire the video. Dotasra, who is now refereed to as the latest “Sexist” and “Misogynist” on social media, praised his own wife who is herself a teacher, working and taken utmost care for the family and their sons. He said women have worked so hard to achieve this today.
He also said that the confidence which our girls have today is credible. He also stated that whenever there is a crime, we men only insist not to bring women’s name in media, because we understand it can hamper their life.
Recently Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar was also targeted by social media feminists (read article below) where he said how modern Indian women want to stay single and are unwilling to give birth even after marriage and desire children by surrogacy. He also said that sue to western influence, today’s society did not want to live with parents. Sudhakar was trolled for calling this a “paradigm shift in thinking”.
Watch the video below and let us know on the tweet after that – Why should Men be criticised if they speak about certain flaws in Women?
Until men are praising women, feminists hail them; however, the minute Men express their challenges with this Gender, they are immediately labelled as patriarchal. Are we implying that Women have no flaws? Are Women perfect? Why is a simple statement by anyone – pointing out limitations in women – blown out of proportion? This is exactly the reason, Men, especially the ones in power do not dare to speak up.
