Speculations are rife that TMC MP and Bengali actress Nusrat Jahan is allegedly all set to welcome her first child. While the same has not yet been officially confirmed, Nusrat’s cryptic post on her Instagram story added fuel to the social media fire!
The quote on her story read,
You will blossom in our own way.
As per reports on various Bengali news websites, TMC MP is six months pregnant. Now, shockingly, to several local reports, her estranged husband, Nikhil Jain said that he wasn’t aware of this development.
ABP Ananda reportedly quoted Nikhil saying that their marriage has fallen apart, and they have not been staying together for over six months now, so in no way the child is his. He also said that there is no contact between Nusrat and him.
According to a report published in Calcutta Times, Nusrat’s estranged husband Nikhil Jain remained tight-lipped about his separation from the actress. However, he said,
Marriage is a sacred institution and should not be tainted or exploited by people from inside or outside. My views are quite liberal. I am very conservative when it comes to family and Indian values. I have only loved and lived and done what’s right as per the need of the hour.
Nusrat Jahan & Nikhil Jain Marriage
Nusrat and Nikhil tied the knot in June 19, 2019 after dating for a while. She got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Turkey in the presence of close friends and family members. The couple later hosted a grand wedding reception in Kolkata attended by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tollywood celebrities.
Nusrat’s Rumoured Extra Marital Relationship
Nusrat is allegedly in a relationship with BJP candidate Yash Dasgupta, and since sometime she has been accepting her relationship with him on social media. Reportedly, Yash and Nusrat spent New Year’s together in Rajasthan and even visited Dakshineswar temple. The duo has been spotted several times together.
Taslima Nasreen’s Comment On The Matter
While referring to Nusrat Jahan’s rumoured pregnancy, Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen has written a post on Facebook, suggesting that there is “no meaning in hanging any unstable relationship like a bat”.
Nasreen further opined that a woman can raise her child with her own identity. “Men don’t have to be face to face,” wrote Nasreen. Adding further, she wrote:
Men are men at the end. Life becomes very happy if you leave one person and marry another. Do we have to marry another to survive a second poisonous life? Then this race won’t end, even the desired man won’t match. The desired man of an independent woman lives in imagination, not in reality.
