Pune Man Dies By Suicide Alleging False Complaints & Defamation By Wife

A 33-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after his wife allegedly defamed him with a false complaint. The deceased has been identified as Prakash Sambhaji Chowghule. The incident took place on September 29, 2021 at Pune, Maharashtra. 

Girish Sambhaji Chowghule (30) of Warje, has filed an FIR against Prakash’s wife Snehal Prakash Chowghule (28) accusing her of being responsbile for his brother’s death. 

According to Warje police station under Pune city police, Prakash’s wife Snehal made false allegations against him and defamed him among relatives and in his company. Subsequently, Prakash consumed poisonous medicines as he was fed up with her insults and humiliation. He was rushed to Mulshi Hospital in Pirangut for treatment. However, he died during treatment.
