A staff boy, who worked at the Gandhinagar Civil Hospital died by suicide by hanging himself in the resident quarters of the hospital on Tuesday morning. Sector-7 police reached the spot and started investigation.
Case:
According to Gandhinagar Civil sources, Fedrick Chandubhai Parmar, a native of Nadiad, had a love marriage with Mamta, nursing in-charge, around two-years ago. Parmar had returned to Gandhinagar Civil Hospital from Ahmedabad on Tuesday morning after visiting his in-laws.
Meanwhile, the young man went to his quarters to change clothes, and informed his colleagues to proceed with their tea and breakfast. However, Fedrick did not return even after several staff members went to call him. His door was locked from inside. Later, the staff broke open the door, suspecting that something was amiss.
A colleague was shocked to see Fedrick hanging on a hook in the room. Entire hospital staff reached his room and the matter was reported to the police control team. Officer are conducting post-mortem examination of the deceased and further inquiries are being conducted to find out the reason for his suicide.
