In a video that has gone viral from Surat in Gujarat, a woman has been caught on camera beating up her husband along with her lover. The wife has been living separately from her husband and the daughter is in her custody.
The husband was injured in the incident, post which he had to be admitted at hospital. The police have registered a case and are conducting further investigation into the matter.
Case:
Yogesh Agarwal, 32, was married ten years ago and the couple has a daughter. His wife left home a year ago along with their child, alleging ‘dowry harassment’. She has also filed cases on him and demanding Rs 1.10 maintenance per month. According to Yogesh, he has received a court order allowing him to meet with his daughter, however, the wife is not permitting him to do so.
Husband Catches Wife With Boyfriend
On Wednesday evening, Yogesh caught his wife with her alleged gym-trainer boyfriend Vishal Salunke in the car. When the husband broke opened the window of the car, and the duo saw him with a mobile camera recording them, they fled from the scene. The husband later chased them.
Husband Beaten Up
The wife and her paramour allegedly got down from their car and started beating up Yogesh. The gym-trainer allegedly also threatened to kill him. As reported by media, the woman started shouting loudly that she was no more his wife and slapped her husband as well. When people on the road called police, Salunke fled from the scene.
Police Case Registered
Yogesh’s leg was injured and the matter was then reported to the Umra police station. A complaint given by husband was registered, however, according to Yogesh, the police did not add relevant sections. Husband told media,
I just want justice, it is a matter of my daughter’s future. I want to prove my wife wrong in court and ensure she gets proper punishment.
