Bollywood actor Dia Mirza got hitched to businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in a private event at Bell Air Apartments in Bandra West on February 16, 2021.
A day ago, Dia took to her instagram account to share the good news of expecting their first child together. She also posted a picture in which sun is setting behind her as she gently cradled her baby bump. Dia wrote,
Blessed to be…One with Mother Earth… One with the Life Force that is the beginning of everything…
This is the second marriage for both Mirza and Rekhi. Mirza was earlier married to film producer Sahil Sangha. They parted ways in 2019 after being together for 11 years.
Vaibhav’s ex-wife yoga instructor Sunaina Rekhi opened up on this alliance and at MDO, we believe, all couples who separate must demonstrate equal grace and maturity.
As per reports, Sunaina is a yoga and lifestyle coach and the former couple have a daughter together. The lady said that this was a ‘really nice extension for’ her daughter Samaira. Quoting Sunaina, she said,
I’m Sunaina Rekhi. You must’ve heard my name, and if not, now it’s all over the news. Yes, my ex-husband has gotten married to Dia and I’ve been getting a lot of DMs and WhatsApps to ask if I’m okay, if Samaira and I are fine. Thank you for feeling I’m your own and for your concern. We are perfectly fine, not just fine, but my daughter is very excited.
I saw some videos where she was throwing flowers. It’s a really nice extension for her. We don’t have any family in Bombay, so it’s nice that she has more family. It’s always nice to create more expansion in your lives.
Samaira also accompanied her dad Vaibhav and Dia on their recent vacay to Maldives. Dia posted a string of images on Instagram from the trip, where she posed with the young girl together (we refrain from using the term ‘step-daughter’).
Wishing all of them the very best, since marriage and divorce are not the end of life, or life goal to settle scores against ex-spouses. Besides, children too must enjoy equal love and guidance from both parents, even if they do not co-habit together anymore.
