One of the twitter users asked the husband to disclose full details about the wife as well.
disclose matter about “parul sharma” also.
let people decide who and whats wrong— Stuff 4u (@Stuff4uhelp) January 7, 2021
To this, the husband replied that it was against his principals, however, maintained that he and his family were completely innocent and demanded fair investigation in the matter.
No I can not do this, it is against my principals
Regarding case filed by my wife I can only say it is false and we are completely innocent
In this case we are victims not her we only demand for fair investigation in the complete case. If we are found guilty put us behind bars.— Vivek Sharma (@viveksharma1999) January 7, 2021
Husband’s brother Deepak Sharma clarified, that he dialed 112 when the woman was present with police without any complaint. He also said that his brother’s wife Parul Sharma left husband’s home on June 30 without giving any valid reason.
He further pleaded for a fair investigation in the false cases filed by his brother’s wife as they claim to have all proofs of their innocence. Deepak also said that the family was living under threat of life and money.
Dear all, Call on 112 was called by me when police was already present along with Parul Sharma without any complaint. It is to be noted that Parul Sharma left her husband on 30 June without giving any valid reason. The propaganda set by @noidapolice is false.

Husband’s brother also posted another video where their father is seen saying that he is willing to go with the police, but needs to discuss what had happened.

After the posts went viral, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Noida Police issued their official statement in the matter. They quoted:
With reference to above an applicant /complainant Parul Sharma came to her matrimonial house at Alpha – 1 to take her belongings like clothes etc., where there was a quarrel between husband and wife and the applicant dialed 112 to call police. To create and build pressure on the police officials, family members of husband started video recording of the said incident and denied to hand over the belongings like clothes etc back to her. Based on the complaint given by Parul Sharma on 03/11/2020, police station has lodged FIR no 692/2020 under IPC Section 498A, 323, 354, 504, 506, 313,, dowry prohibition act section 3/4. After lodging the FIR, no police official has visited Vivek Sharma’s house. Video recording was circulated on twitter to create and build pressure on police. This was the only reason to circulate video on twitter.

While the matter is subjudice, here are some of the reactions from the posts.
They are claiming it’s related to stridhan recovery which is absurd. Multiple laws broken by police here.

If policeman were truthful, why would they snatch away mobile phones of family. The family would have video graphed what police did. And what police did was right. So, whay snatch away phone??!
— 👤 (@iWriteHanded) January 7, 2021
How is this legal? Who authorised police to snatch, do physical assault???
This family had cctv so recorded, the way it’s done, it seems this is normal for police and what must be happening to families with no recordings?— Ashish Virmani (@AshishBest2014) January 8, 2021
Police existence is to serve common people and maintain law and order. This kind of gundagardi should be thoroughly checked/punished.

Was this criminal investigation and is guys family so dangerous that the whole police station is at his home.@noidapolice everyone knows how a husband is harassed in matrimony disputes. you also have son or brother,
Women are beating police officers. At least think about that— ThatGuy (@LotusBlue14) January 7, 2021
Video clearly shows how police is harasing senior citizens and their family. @myogiadityanath @myogioffice @shalabhmani have your govt set any protocol for these police. They are not even following SC rulling.

@India_NHRC human rights are violated. Please take action accordingly.

There’s no law where Police can act without warrants. Responsible personnel of @Uppolice must be dismissed from the services for breaking law & conspiring against innocent men. @IPS_Association which rule from a book empower men in uniform give right to vandalism?

Day by day UP police standard is going down.
They act late on rape cases, but show their bravery on family matters.
Get well soon UP police!
