Meerut Man Beaten To Death By In-Laws Due To Suspected Adultery | 19 Bones Broken

A man from Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh was brutally beaten because his in-laws suspected him of being involved in an extra-marital affair.

The husband was injured so badly that he ultimately died after a couple of weeks of the alleged attack.

Case:

The deceased, identified as Akash was in regular contact with one vet’s daughter that falls under the Paratapur police station area. His in-laws were against the man’s alleged relationship with the woman and thus they called him to visit their home, using his wife’s mobile phone.

When Akash reached the residence, the woman’s family was already waiting for him. They started thrashing him immediately after he arrived and allegedly broke 19 bones. Thereafter, he was admitted to a hospital, however, even after getting immediate treatment, the husband died after 17 days.

After the victim husband was murdered by his in-laws, his family filed a case against five people. Thereafter, the police has arrested the woman’s father and brother. The cops are still investigating the case and looking for the other accused involved.

Supreme Court has decriminalised adultery since 2018, however, somehow this verdict has always been used to justify a wife’s extra marital affair under the term ‘she deserves to be happy’, however, when husbands allegedly tread that path, they face fatal attack by in-laws.
