CRPF Soldier Abhishek Kumar, who was posted at Latehar police station area, Jharkhand, died by suicide by shooting himself with his own weapon on the night of December 17.
The news has been confirmed by CRPF 214th Battalion Manish Bharti. The cops are currently investigating the matter.
Case:
The CRPF officials rushed Kumar to Sadar Hospital after hearing that he shot himself, however, the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Kumar’s troubled mental health is cited as the primary reason for ending his life abruptly. As reported by media, Kumar was undergoing mental stress for the last few days.
On December 12, he returned to his duty after spending his holidays at home, however, he seemed to be under some kind of anxiety.
The personnel also started interacting less with other officers at the camp. Thus, family problem could not be ruled out in the suicide of Kumar.
After his death was confirmed, CRPF officials and police officers reached Sadar Hospital. The case is being
investigated.
