Separated Woman Allows Lover To Sexually Exploit Minor Daughter & Impregnate Her

Shocking incident has been reported from Chennai which puts the image of motherhood to shame. A woman and her lover have been arrested by the Madipakkam all-women police under the rigid POCSO Act after the mother allowed her own minor daughter to be sexually exploited by her lover.

Case:

The accused woman got separated from her husband a few years ago. The minor girl who was exploited in the case is her own 15-year-old elder daughter, as informed by police.

The mother got into a relationship with another man after drifting apart from her husband. The accused man, identified as Sekar, 32, a resident of Sholinganallur, is a house painter by profession and the woman’s paramour. He used to visit the victim’s house on a frequent basis, after which he started sexually harassing the woman’s minor daughter.

The girl informed her mother and complained to her about the same. However, the woman asked her daughter to stay silent and also to “cooperate” with him instead of dragging Sekar to the authorities. The victim girl shockingly became pregnant in September, after which, the woman took her to her uncle’s residence and left her there without even informing the girl’s condition to her brother.

The girl finally gathered courage and informed her uncle that she was pregnant. As soon as the uncle became aware of the situation, he made several calls to his sister to confront about the same, however, all his efforts went in vain. He then approached Madipakkam all-women police station with the girl.

A case was registered and the girl was sent to a rehabilitation home. As report TOI report, she later gave birth to a baby boy in October. The cops initiated a search hunt for the lover and the woman. On December 30, both the accused were arrested.

This case is yet again an eye opener where custody of children are granted to separated mothers by default. When the other biological parent has no access or communication with the child, we are only exposing such children to some very serious and irreparable situations.
