Chennai Horror | 2 Women Allow Shopkeeper To Rape & Film Their Minor Daughters As Payment For Goods

A complete shocker case from Chennai has been reported, within days of the alleged gang-rape of a college student in Karnataka’s Mysuru.

Two sisters have been accused of allowing a shopkeeper to rape their minor daughters and record videos of the assault as they failed to make payment for the goods they purchased from his shop.

The shopkeeper in question even raped and filmed three friends of the sister duo’s daughters.

Case:

Shopkeeper identified as Perumal (48) was raided after a a tip-off to the police that he had stored banned tobacco products in his premise. During the raid, a bag of tobacco items and the shopkeeper’s mobile phone was seized by the police.

The officials were in for a shock when they checked the shopkeeper’s mobile phone, which they had taken in their custody to obtain details of dealers of tobacco items. In his mobile phone’s photo gallery, police found nearly 50 videos of children being sexually assaulted by a man. The police, initially, thought that the shopkeeper had downloaded child pornographic content. However, later, it was concluded that the man seen in the clips was Perumal himself, as reported by TOI.

Perumal was arrested by the police and during questioning, he informed them that he had been sexually assaulting the five minors for around six months.

Accused Women

The two accused women aged 30 and 28 years, who also happen to be sisters, were involved in this horrific crime. Both have also been arrested.

One of the woman was having an affair with the shopkeeper, as both sisters allowed him to sexually their minor daughters and shoot videos of the heinous crime. The reason given for this was non-payment for the articles these women purchased from his shop.

Not just the daughters of the accused woman, the shopkeeper also repeatedly raped their children’s three friends who had come to their house for playing.

These three children were too young to tell their parents what was happening. Deputy Commissioner Karthikeyan told media,

It is a shocking case. If the inspector had not checked his mobile phone, the case wouldn’t have come to light and the man would have abused more children.

The parents of the three other children told police that the two women took care of their children whenever they went out for work. 

Perumal was sent to Chengalpet sub-jail, while the two women were lodged in the women’s prison at Puzhal.
