Story Updated
As reported by Hindustan Times, the deceased boy had been named by a girl he was acquainted with in a #MeToo post. The incident took place late in Gurugram after the accused boy was alerted by his friends about the consequences of the social media post that claimed he had molested the girl two years ago.
The incident comes on the heels of a social media outrage across the country over the discovery of an Instagram group comprising schoolboys, where discussions amounted to outraging the modesty of underage girls and even raping them.
An instagram handle narrates the incident as below:
He is ________* And you will definitely will never see him again according to the balance of nature and congratulations to the girl who got justice from his suicide and I would like to congratulate all our teenagers who believe they are the new authority they are the new INSTAGRAM LAW SOCIETY OF INDIA there they sympathise people and come up defaming people with great conclusions like threats?
You coming up with an incident with no fucking proof and than you defame a boy and ask your frnds to threaten him and the incident which happened years ago and you didn’t believed on authorities but you believe on social media wow intelligent generation yes you have all the rights to speak but if you are coming up with a crime scene and with a name on it but no proofs dude you are nothing but spoiling someone’s life just like you did oh sorry you finished it social media gave you justice by snatching a son from his parents you wanted justice we have law for that not social media and stories!
And no one got rights to threaten anyone out there who gave you rights to defame someone to spoil his reputation with your words without the help of any legal authority shame huge shame ! He was just in 12 my condolences with his family and this is my request pls go to legal authorities for help instead of defaming someone on social media you just separated a lot of relations from him R.i.p THIS CASE IS WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY NOT RELATED TO LOCKERROOM
#BoisLockerRoom
A day after a 15-year-old boy was apprehended for allegedly sharing a picture of one of his followers on the ‘Bois Locker Room’ Instagram group, the Delhi Police Cyber Crime Cell (CCC) questioned five students, between classes X and XII of prominent South Delhi schools, for around six hours in front of their parents on Tuesday.
They have also issued notices to 21 other members of the group, asking them to join the probe in the coming days.
The CCC had lodged an FIR after they came to know about the Instagram group, where teenage boys from prominent South Delhi schools allegedly shared photos of girls and engaged in sexually explicit conversation, including threats of sexual violence.
Girls Locker Room
Soon after the chats of the ‘Bois Locker Room’ went viral, screenshots of ‘Girls Locker Room’ were also allegedly leaked which showed chats projecting sexual pleasure between young teenage girls. The screen shots also revealed how girls were equally vulgar in objectifying men sexually and were partakers in body shaming for the other gender.
While Men’s Day Out has never supported any acts by either gender that are against the law, we do wish to reiterate the menace caused on young minds and Men otherwise, due to social media trials and humiliation.
