A woman and her friends allegedly thrashed her estranged husband after he informed her family about their separation. A case in this regard has been lodged at the Vejalpur police station in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad.
Case:
Couple got married in December 2015. Husband is an IT professional who is in website development business and hails from Juhapura, while the accused wife (from Delhi) in question runs a spa in the city’s Satellite locality.
After few years in the marriage, the two decided to amicably part ways. In fact on Thursday, the couple’s divorce deed got finalised as well.
Man Informs About Divorce To In-Laws
After the divorce, man called up his brother-in-law to apprise him of the separation. This, however, enraged his estranged wife, who then showed up at his residence along with two of her friends and assaulted him.
In another incident, a man allegedly attacked his 35-year-old wife with acid in Maharashtra’s Nagpur on Saturday. A domestic feud between the couple is suspected to have led to the acid attack, police said.
