Lucknow Ola Cab Driver case has a new update….A new request from accused Priyadarshini Narayan Yadav has come to the fore. As per a recent report by ABP Live, the woman who slapped Ola cab driver at a Lucknow traffic signal last month, now wants to settle the matter with the victim, by tying him a Rakhi. Yes you read that right…!
Here are the Details:
On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, Priyadarshini – also now popular as Thappad Girl – wanted to tie Rakhi to Saadat Ali – cab driver whom she slapped more than 20 times. According to the report, the lady also purchased Rakhi and sweets for Saadat and has kept them at her house.
Priyadarshini says that if Saadat comes home, she will welcome him and will begin a new relationship by tying him the Rakhi – thereby letting bygones be bygones.
In case you are not aware of what happened between the two: On July 30, Priyadarshini was caught on CCTV crossing the road despite the traffic light being green for vehicles to turn left. She came in front of the Ola cab, where the driver Saadat, had to break at once.
Priyadarshini in her defense alleged that the cab driver tried to crush her when she was crossing the road due to the red light at the intersection. Angered by this, Priyadarshini slapped the cab driver 22 times, even broke his mobile phone along with the side mirrors on both sides of the car.
Priyadarshini did not even spare another man who tried to intervene and slapped him too. In the entire incident, traffic police was standing right there and did nothing to stop the violent woman.
Police Commissioner DK Thakur had handed over the investigation to Banthra police and subsequently, a charge sheet has been filed against Priyadarshini booking her on charges of assault, threat to life and sabotage. The initial charges of robbery have been dropped though.
Saadat has wowed to take this matter to its logical conclusion via court.
Now, while the matter is subjudice, Priyadarshini sparked this latest Rakhi controversy to end the matter amicably. Cab driver is yet to respond on this new development.
