But reverse the case, and social media has a field day in mocking men, whose adulterous wives runaway with their ex-boyfriends after stealing money from their matrimonial homes.

Here’s one such case reported from Bihar!
Satyanand and Rani Kumari, (20), got married in April 2022 and were living in Patna’s satellite town Naubatpur. Within 45-days of their marriage, Rani stole cash and jewellery from her husband’s house, while he was asleep, in order to start a new life with her ex-boyfriend.
Shockingly, Rani was in a steady relationship with Satyanand since past two years. The duo fell in love and would spend nights talking to each other on their phones. When their parents objected to their relationship, they said that they could not live without each other and subsequently they were married with much pomp in April this year.
Wife Elopes Within 45 Days
Things changed drastically when Rani reached her husband’s house after the marriage. Her husband noticed that she would constantly talk to some other man during the night. When he confronted her, she said that she wanted to live with the other man and not him.
The couple got into fights and one night when the husband was sleeping, Rani broke the locks and fled away with all the cash and other valuables.
The hapless husband approached the police and narrated his ordeal saying that she broke the locks on the safe and had fled with Rs 20,000 cash, ‘mangalsutra’ and the jewellery that was given to her at the wedding.
It was later learnt that she was still not over her ex-boyfriend and had eloped with him shortly after her marriage. A case has been registered based on the husband’s statement.
