14-Year-Old Boy’s Nose & Genitals Chopped Off By Alleged Girlfriend’s Mother, Her Friend

In a chilling incident reported from Karnataka (in March 2021), a 14-year-old boy was murdered in the most horrific manner, after he allegedly approached a girl living in a neighbouring colony in his village and gave her a mobile phone. 

Two persons were arrested in the Kalaburagi district in the said matter.

Case:

A dead body of a minor boy was found in the Bhima River, a few kilometres away from his village – Naribol – on February 27.

The deceased was later identified as Mahesh Kolli, a student of a government school in Naribol village. The police official said that the mother of the girl had tried to stop Mahesh from approaching her daughter. But after they continued to talk frequently, Mehboobsab, the mother’s friend whisked the boy away on February 22 in the pretext of talking to him. 

The boy was missing for five days before his dead body was found in a sack in the Bhima River, reported The News Minute. 

The arrested persons have been identified as Mehboobsab and Tarabi, the mother of the girl and her friend. The duo were charged under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.

Mallikarjun Kolli, the minor boy’s father, said his son was forced to drink and smoke ganja, and the assailants murdered him when he was intoxicated. The father said,

Instead of killing my son, they should have spoken to me if he was not on the right path.

Police Statement

Police officials confirmed that Mahesh’s nose and genitals were chopped off and his body was thrown in the river in a sack.

Kalaburagi SP Simi Mariam George confirmed the arrests made in the case and said that the duo were charged with murdering the boy. An FIR was registered at the Jewargi police station in the district in connection with the murder.
