BJP Youth Wing Leader Dies By Suicide Due To Alleged Infidelity By Girlfriend

A leader of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party, died by suicide in Chhattisgarh’s Durg due to alleged cheating by his girlfriend. Case has been registered and matter is under investigation.

Case:

Gopal Singh Rajput, 28, had gone to his room to sleep after eating dinner with his family. When his door did not open for a long time the next morning, his father came to check and found the door locked from inside. His family members knocked several times before breaking the lock of the door and entering the room. They found Rajput’s body in his room.

On hearing about the incident, the Mohan Nagar police team rushed to the spot and sent the body for a post-mortem evaluation. In what seems to be a suicide note left by the deceased, it is written that the reason for suicide was his girlfriend’s infidelity, the police said as reported by India Today. The note read:

I am deciding to commit suicide because I cannot tolerate the failure of my love.

They then informed the police. On inspecting the body, the police found that there was a wound on his wrist. The police suspect that the deceased tried to slit his wrist before dying by suicide.

Police official Jitendra Verma said they have registered a case in the matter and have inspected the site of the death.

Whenever a man dies by suicide due to infidelity or adultery by his spouse/partner, he will be termed as a loser. Whenever a woman dies by suicide due to cheating by her husband/boyfriend, the man will be arrested at once for abetting her suicide. Gender Biased Laws need to be made neutral in either side situations.

Men are dragged to court on pretext of rape if they back out from marriage after consensual affair, however, most women get away even if their boyfriends end life due to their infidelity.
