The cause of #HusbandMurders in most instances is Adultery by wife. Several such cases get reported on a daily basis from various urban and rural parts of India, however, we only outrage when genders are reversed even for one case.
One more such incident has been reported from Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, where a woman got her husband murdered to continue her illicit relationship with her own sister’s husband.
Case:
Last month, a man killed his brother-in-law for interfering in his extra-marital affair with the victim’s wife. The case was reported from Gudipala Mandal district in Chittoor. According to the police, Bujji (accused wife) and Prabhakar (victim husband) were living in Vengamambapuram. Bujji was having an affair with her sister’s husband Guruswamy (accused brother-in-law) who stayed at RK Peta in Tamil Nadu.
Guruswamy used to often visit Bujji’s home and Prabhakar soon learnt about his wife’s affair. He asked his wife to mend her ways at once.
Both the accused wanted to eliminate Prabhakar since he was aware of their affair and thus they hired one person named Tirumala to do the needful. The trio took Prabhakar to a forest on June 18, got him drunk, strangled him with a wire and then murdered him. They also buried his body in the same forest area.
When victim’s brother found him missing, he registered a case with police against Guruswamy. After investigation, police recovered the body and booked Guruswamy and Tirumala for the murder. The body has been sent for post mortem.
Police are ascertaining the role of wife in the case.
