A woman from Lucknow has alleged that she was compelled to file a false rape on pretext of marriage case against a man on Friday. The woman has accused a sub inspector of forcing her to do so.
Case:
In her written complaint, the woman wrote to the additional deputy commissioner of police, north zone, informing him that one SI Nepal Singh, who was also indicted by CB-CID for framing a restaurateur and his helper in a fake ATM loot case, had forced her to lodge a false rape case.
On April 1, Nepal Singh was booked by CB-CID along with four other cops on charges of public servant disobeying law, public servant framing incorrect record, punishment for wrongful confinement and Arms Act for framing one Santosh and his physically challenged aide Irfan.
In her letter to the deputy commissioner of police, the woman alleged that Singh had asked her to file a false rape case against one Santosh, whom he had framed in an ATM loot case. The woman stated,
He insisted to lodge a case of luring a woman for marriage and raping her and taking her ornaments at Madiaon police station.
