A shocking incident has come to light from Maharashtra, where a 20-year-old girl allegedly hired a contract killer to bump off her boyfriend in Nagpur district of the state.
The woman has now been arrested by police for planning her lover’s murder.
Case:
The victim has been identified as Chandu Mahapur, who was already married but was having an extra-marital affair with the 20-year-old girl. The victim was killed on February 25, according to a report in Times of India.
The woman planned the murder of Chandu since he was objecting to her getting married. The accused later hired the contract killer Bharat Gurjar, who is also Chandu’s friend and a distant relative. Not just this, she also offered Bharat Rs 1.50 lakh and promised to have sex with him after the murder.
Local crime branch arrested Gurjar on Friday before he got both money and sex for Chandu’s murder.
Murder
Gurjar reportedly murdered Chandu by first smashing his head and then slitting his throat. He later dumped the body into an abandoned crusher mine in Salaimendha.
Gurjar had a money dispute with Chandu and lured him to have liquor with him. Later, Chandu was taken to Salaimendha and killed by the accused.
A CCTV footage of the victim and the accused helped police to crack the murder. Police have also arrested the woman’s parents for planning and executing the murder.
