A minor girl was arrested in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly killing her parents. According to the police, the girl killed her father, who was a police constable, and also her mother, since the parents did not approve her relationship with her 20-year-old boyfriend.
DIG Indore Hari Narayan Mishra Chari told media,
The minor daughter of the deceased couple has been arrested along with her 20-year-old boyfriend who has been identified as Dhananjay from Ratlam.
Case:
The constable and his wife were found murdered at their Rukmani Nagar residence under the Aerodrume police station early Thursday morning. Their body had multiple stab injuries.
The double murder was initially noticed by the victims’ minor son who was staying with his grandparents in the adjoining house. His mother was supposed to bring tea for his grandparents, however, when she did not come, his grandfather sent him to his father’s house to check what had happened. The police said that when the son reached home, he found his parents lying in a pool of blood.
Subsequently, it was found that the daughter had gone missing, and thus they initially suspected she was kidnapped. The girl turned out to be the prime suspect after a written note was recovered, in which several allegations were levelled against the parents.
Police said that the minor was in a relationship with a 20-year-old boy, Dhananjay, and the parents did not approve of it. The head constable had found about the two a few days back, police said.
The grandparents confirmed that the couple had also stopped talking to the girl after the incident.
Planned Murder
The murder plan was worked out at least three days in advance. The double murder was allegedly planned and executed by Dhananjay. The constable’s daughter was an accomplice in the crime.
The daughter took their German Shepherd dog out for a walk at around 4.30 am because both the accused suspected he could alarm the neighbours. The couple was attacked in sleep after Dhananjay was allowed a quiet entry inside the house, police said.

Police say the youth first stabbed the mother in the head and face four to five times as she slept. Her husband woke up and came under attack, too. He fought back, but the blades cut deep into his head and arms, and he collapsed.
The girl then went back into the house after tying the dog to the gates. Police say the duo covered the bodies with bedsheets, sat down for a while to catch their breath, and then the girl wrote down a letter incriminating her father.
