Gujarat Woman Plans Murder Of Third Child As Paramour Could Afford Only Two In Their Live-in Relationship

A mother and her paramour planned and executed the murder of the woman’s daughter in Gota area of Ahmedabad,  Gujarat. The girl had been reportedly missing and later found dead by the local police.

Case:

In the month of September this year, a seven-year-old girl was untraceable for two days ago. She was the youngest of three daughters. Meanwhile, the accused mother approached Sola police and lodged a complaint herself. She did so to avoid suspicion.

The little girl’s body was later retrieved from the bushes in the locality and the prime suspects for the police were the mother and her paramour who carried out the murder.

According to J P Jadeja of Sola Police, police kept searching for the minor girl. They released search parties for around two days to ensure that the girl could be found in a safe condition, however, unfortunately they only managed to trace her body. A senior police officer told TOI,

The deceased girl’s mother had three daughters as she and her paramour were planning to live-in together, her paramour told her that he could keep only two of them and they hatched a conspiracy to kill the youngest one.

The paramour, identified as 45-year-old Bhikhu Mistry, took the girl to an isolated place in Gota. He later strangulated her to death and left her body there.

A team of city crime branch was also roped in and they traced the accused in the case. According to the sources in the police, Mistry has confessed to the crime, whereas, the deceased’s mother was also being questioned. Until the story was reported by TOI in mid-September there was no arrest of the mother.

In similar other story reported in June last year, a woman and her paramour were main suspects in a minor’s case who went missing and was later found dead inside a well in Thiruvananthapuram’s Nedumangad on June 29, 2019.

After the mother’s arrest, she informed the police that she had seen her 16-year-old daughter hanging in the room. According to the woman, witnessing her daughter in that state she panicked and disposed off the body with the help of her lover. The woman was estranged from her husband.

During the interrogation, the duo revealed that they were having an affair and the girl had a fight with her mother following which she hanged herself in the house.

The body of the girl had been sent for post-mortem and the investigation was underway. The police suspected that the duo murdered the girl and later dumped the body.
