Hello Women Empowerment 10.0!
In a recent story published by TOI, two men in Maharashtra approached police officers at Bharosa cell, seeking their assistance in reuniting with their estranged wife. Both men were married to the same woman, while the lady in question had eloped with a third man, who happens to be her lover!
Here’s What Happened
The woman in her mid-twenties had a love marriage with her first husband and the couple has two kids.
After four years of marriage, the woman developed friendship with another man, who she married without divorcing her first husband. She even left her kids behind with the first husband. According to police, the duo got married two years ago in a temple in Nagpur.
Now, comes the third entry!
The woman is now missing from her second husband’s home since some days on pretext of visiting her parents. However, the second husband has learnt, that his wife met a new man on social media whom she befriended and has allegedly eloped with him.

According to Bharosa cell sources, the second husband has now connected with the first husband to teach the third man a lesson. Infact, the second pati went out of his way to find the first abandoned husband.
The first husband is currently addicted to alcohol, but later agreed to accompany the second to the police station.
Seema Surve, senior inspector and in-charge of the Bharosa cell, told TOI that the second husband is eager to get back with the woman, but the first isn’t ready.

It must be noted that the Bharosa cell has been established to exclusively provide assistance and counseling services to children, women, and the elderly. Thus, they could not legally assist the husbands. However, the cell guided them to approach Sonegaon police station to register their complaint. Surve added,
Bharosa cell didn’t register the complaint, but we guided the men to approach Sonegaon police station to lodge a complaint about the third paramour and the woman. Since there was no domestic violence, we felt the local police station could legally deal with the situation better. We approached this case objectively from the point of view of two men.
