26-Year-Old Lady Teacher Sexually Violates 14-Year-Old Boy & Later Elopes With Him

Cops in Gandhinagar have been left shocked, since a state government employee approached them to file a complaint against a 26-year-old female class teacher of his minor son.

Case:

• The man works at Udyog Bhawan and the accused teacher lives in Darbari chawl in Kalol town in Gujarat
• He lodge a complaint in the local police station alleging that the lady class teacher had seduced his 14-year-old son, who studies in Class VIII
• The father also alleged that his child had gone missing since 4pm on Friday and his class teacher too was not to be found since then
• The cops confirmed that the teacher had been physically intimate with the minor boy since a year, and the school authorities had recently expressed sharp criticism against their behaviour

The father said,

I reached home at 7pm on Friday and found my son missing. My wife told me he had left home at around 4pm the same evening. We searched him in the neighbourhood and amongst relatives, but couldn’t find him. I also went to the teacher’s house but they were not there either.

The official added,

As their relationship was not accepted, both chose to run away from their homes on Friday. It is a rare case of an adult woman teacher eloping with a minor teenager boy.

An FIR for elopement has been booked under Section 363 IPC with the Kalol police station. Inspector KK Desai of the Kalol city police said that the duo was untraceable since they were not carrying their cell phones.

It is strange and shocking that the police has not charged the women under POCSO Act yet. Also, the school must be equally booked since they were fully aware of what the lady teacher had done with the minor boy, yet failed to report the crime to the police.

This is exactly the hypocrisy of our society when it comes to boys. No one bats an eyelid until something drastically goes wrong with the male child.

POCSO ACT

To deal with child sexual abuse cases, the Government has brought in a special law, namely, The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. The Act has come into force with effect from 14th November, 2012 along with the Rules framed thereunder. The POCSO Act, 2012 is a comprehensive law to provide for the protection of children from the offences of sexual assault, sexual harassment and pornography, while safeguarding the interests of the child at every stage of the judicial process by incorporating child-friendly mechanisms for reporting, recording of evidence, investigation and speedy trial of offences through designated Special Courts.
