24-Year-Old Man Dies By Suicide Within 5-Days Of Marriage As In-Laws Threaten False Rape Case

A young man from Rajasthan died by suicide, just 5-days after he got married. According to reports, the man who had a love marriage was allegedly betrayed by his wife, who refused to live with him immediately after the wedding. The victim was also being allegedly threatened by wife’s family to implicate him on false rape charges.

Case:

Mahesh Kumar (24) son Satyanarayan Aggarwal had a love marriage with one Radha Gupta (24), a resident of Balotra, on February 2 as per Arya Samaj rites. Radha’s family learnt about this on February 4. Initially both the families agreed and they also discussed how to organise a reception for relatives and friends. 

On the other hand, Radha’s sister Priya Bansal and husband Chirag Bansal were brainwashing her.

Soon after, Radha refused to live with Mahesh. Allegedly, the Bansal duo also threatened to implicate Mahesh in a false rape case, which led Mahesh into fear and depression. Mahesh then left for his Tau’s (uncle) home on Monday.

On the same day, after leaving his Tau’s house, he was going to Balotra by train with his family. The train stopped at Kawas railway station in Nagana police station area. Mahesh informed his family that he was going to the toilet. However, shockingly, Mahesh got out and jumped in front of another passing train going from Barmer to Jodhpur. He died on the spot.

The police handed over his body to the relatives after conducting postmortem. According to Narayan Ram of GRP police station, the family members have filed a case of harassment against Chirag Bansal and Priya Bansal.

According to the family, Mahesh used to live alone in Balotra, where he studied together with Radha. The couple dated for 6-years before getting married.
