A married woman from Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh, wanted to elope with her lover and thus reached the bus station. However, she did not go there alone, instead, also took two of her children.
Witnessing both kids with the adulterous woman, the paramour escaped and the plan of eloping fell flat.
Case:
A married woman who is a resident of Indergarh police station area, was in an illicit relationship with another man. Over a period of time, the two fell in love and also decided to take vows of living together.
Thus, the duo planned to escape from their respective homes outside their hometown and start a new life all over again.
The woman though reached the Saraimira bus stop with her two children. After an hour or so, the paramour reached too reached the venue as pre decided. Initially, he was overjoyed to see his partner, however, his attitude suddenly changed the minute he witnessed two kids who had tagged along.

The woman informed her lover that she had left one of her children at home, while brought two of them to be with her. She also introduced the man to her kids, however, the lover was extremely nervous of taking this ahead.
The man did not want any responsibility of the children and this was never a part of their plan. On other hand, the woman was adamant that the children come along with them.
After a brief altercation, the paramour cooked up an excuse that he was going to have some tea. The woman kept waiting for him while the lover did not return.
Later, the woman started crying while she was still standing at the bus stop. Some passengers informed the cops about the woman, and Kamal Bhati, the station in-charge of Saraimira police station came and spoke with her.
The woman told the cop that her partner did not want her kids to be with them, while she insisted on taking them along. Thereafter, Bhati took her and her children and dropped them back at their home.
Most of you would be laughing at this situation, however, often we forget the plight of the husband who will now be compelled to accept the woman back in his home. In a reverse situation, the cops would have possibly arrested the man for running away and deserting his family. Nonetheless, in this case, the cop merely dropped the woman home.
Also, no questions asked on how the woman could flee taking away the man’s children. If a father would have done so, it was be a clear case of kidnap.
All these Gender Biased Laws and mindset of society projecting women as eternal victims, need to stop. Laws should be equal for all. If we crib about inequality in society, the laws too should be fair and equal irrespective of genders.
