Neha Kakkar’s Ex-Boyfriend | “She Constantly Cried On TV Shows & I Was Cursed On Social Media”

Singer Neha Kakkar seems to be in the headlines for more reasons than one these days and it looks like her publicity stunt of pretending to be in a relationship with Aditya Narayan has gained a lot of traction over the internet. However, the current ‘fake’ relationship was preceded by her much talked about and hyped break up with Yaariyaan star Himansh Kohli. 

The actor has finally broken his silence and spilled beans on what happened between the two. In his recent interview, Himansh has revealed that it was Neha and not him who decided to move out of their relationship, however he was made a villain.

Counted amongst most controversial and talked-about break-ups of the industry, Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar had shocked her fans when she had hinted about split with her then-boyfriend Himansh Kohli in December 2018. Soon the singer’s social media was filled with emotional and heart-breaking posts almost daily. Not only this she was also seen crying her heart out during various occasions such as on reality and live shows. All through this one sided drama, Himansh was mum while he was solely being blamed for her condition.

Talking about how he was referred merely as Neha’s ex-boyfriend, Himansh told Bombay Times,

I understand that; I have been in a relationship with the person, and it’s normal for everyone to link me with her. But sometimes, I feel bad because there is an identity that I made for myself in 2011 when I started out as an actor with the TV show, ‘Humse Hai Life’.

He further revealed how it wasn’t an ugly break-up, yet Neha’s statements on social media made it sound like hell for her. Talking about the same he said,

Today, things have settled down, but yes, there was a time when the entire world was cursing me on social media. That was when we had just split towards the end of 2018 and she had put up this post online. Nobody wanted to know the real story and I was made out to be the villain.

It was very upsetting because I wasn’t saying anything and people were drawing their own conclusions based on what she was putting out. She cried on TV shows and everyone believed that I was to blame. I wanted to cry too, but then we tend to put up a brave front.

He said that he chose to wait for some time and later would change his mind because he felt this was the same person whom he had loved and thus did not want to say anything against her. He then concluded by saying,

All I can say is that she didn’t want to continue and so, we mutually decided to separate. It was her decision to move on in life and I respected that. But then in no time, the story took a turn. Each time she put up a post, I faced a backlash.

Neha however did not take this interview too well and yet again she lashed out through her instagram account which read,

Neha, who earlier appeared to be tying the knot to Aditya Narayan soon, in a recent interview has revealed that the latter will be in fact getting married to his longtime girlfriend in 2020.

In an interview to TOI, she quoted,

Aditya is a very beautiful person. He has a heart of gold and I am really happy to share that my dear friend is getting married this year with his long-time girlfriend. I wish him all the happiness and many years of togetherness.

It all began on reality show Indian Idol (which has Neha as one of its judges), when Aditya Narayan’s father Udit Narayan came to ask for Neha’s hand along with his wife Deepa Narayan Jha. Things further became baffling when the ‘wedding’ episode of the show was shot with Neha’s co-judge, Vishal Dadlani officiating the ceremony.

However, Udit then revealed in an interview that the wedding was a gimmick to boost ratings. He said,

Aditya is our only son. We’re waiting for him to get married. If these wedding rumours were true, my wife and I would be the happiest parents in the world. But Aditya has not shared this with us.

Well Bollywood is all about show, pretension, drama and hype. Nonetheless, the same should not be misused for personal gains by tarnishing anyone’s image.
