Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Wife Denies Rumours Of Extra Marital Affair With Peeyush Pandey

On May 7, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui received a divorce notice from his wife Aaliya Siddiqui demanding maintenance and sole custody of both children. His wife Aaliya, who has gone back to her original name Anjana Kishor Pandey, also revealed that while she had sent him a legal notice, Nawaz is yet to reply.

Aaliya also started giving media bytes where she narrated her side of ordeal accusing Nawaz’s brother too to be responsbile for the dent in her married life. Since then media has been speculating several reasons behind the split. Aaliya has allegedly disclosed that Nawaz never raised his hands on her but the arguments and constant fights were unbearable. However, as per some media reports, she was physically and mentally tortured by Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s family and brother.

Apart from the reason behind the split, the rumours of Aaliya’s newly founded love has also making the headlines. According to the some reports, Aaliya has been in the news for her growing closeness with Peeyush Pandey, former business head of Viacom’s spotlight section. This led to many leading questions on the timing of the divorce notice.

Sources claimed that Aaliya aka Anjana’s WhatsApp display pictures also highlights her with rumoured close friend Peeyush. However, clearing the air around the same Peeyush Pandey has opened up about the issue. Talking to Bombay Times, he said,

I am the scapegoat here. These link-up rumours are completely baseless and ridiculous! Why am I being dragged into this? I have nothing to do with this. People around them know about their feud and what is going on between them (estranged relationship). I want to stay away from it. Why is my name and reputation being tarnished? I am in a relationship with someone, and this sort of rumour is extremely distasteful.

He also mentioned that his partner is aware of everything and he will consult his lawyer about safeguarding his interests. The report also added that the said photo of Aaliya and Peeyush had been cropped. The original photo has three people in it — Aaliya, Peeyush and his girlfriend. The picture had reportedly been Aaliya’s What’s App display picture till sometime back.

Peeyush also revealed the truth behind Aaliya’s Whatsapp display picture and said,

We all click pictures. It’s a normal thing to do. If there are three people in the picture and you crop it and use just two people, you can claim whatever you want to.

Aaliya too took to her newly created Twitter account @asiddiqui2020 and said,

This is Aliya Siddiqui. I am forced to put the truth concerning me on Twitter so that there is no miscommunication. Let the truth not be silenced by misuse and abuse of power. Truth cannot be bought or be manipulated with.

To begin with let me clarify that I am not into “ANY RELATIONSHIP” with any MAN; and any media report which make such claims, are absolutely false. It appears that some section of the media have manipulated with my photograph to make such ridiculous claims to divert attention.

Nawazuddin and Aaliya were married for 11 years and have two beautiful kids together. Aaliya has no plans of reconciliation with the Manto fame and wants the sole custody of their kids- daughter Shora and son Yaani.
