Monster Mother returns! In a shocking incident from Uttar Pradesh”s Aligarh district, a 25-year-old woman allegedly beat her six-month-old daughter to death. If this ain’t chilling enough, the reason behind her horrific act was because the husband refused to buy her and the children new clothes for Holi (Indian festival of colours).
Accused Pinky Sharma got married to Rahul, a lock factory labourer, four years ago and they had a three-year-old son along with the now deceased six-month baby girl. The incident has been reported from Rampur village on Sunday. According to the police, Pinky and her husband had a heated argument when the latter refused to go to the market to buy new clothes. In order to vent out her angst and as a mark of protest, Pinky thrashed her infant daughter Soni, so badly that the child died on the spot.

In a complaint lodged by Rahul, police registered a case against Pinky under section 302 (murder) of IPC and arrested her. Station in-charge Naresh Kumar Singh said that Pinky told police that she did not kill her daughter ‘intentionally’.
The woman also added how she was frustrated with domestic issues and constant arguments with her husband and thus took out her frustration on their daughter, without realising that the baby would die.
Sadly, woman card and sympathy factor always play a role whenever the accused is not the male gender.

While the investigation in the matter is still on, Sharma said,
As per Sunita’s confession, she killed Vivan as she was disturbed due to the frequent fights with her husband and his remarks doubting her character. The couple used to fight over the issue on a daily basis, following which she decided to kill her son.
