Con Bride Dupes 1st Husband Of Rs 1 Crore, 2nd For Rs 45 Lakh & Leaves With 3rd For California

A bride from Itkhori in Chatra, Jharkhand has cheated on not one, two but three husbands by creating a profile on Shaadi.com. While she was able to extort Rs 1 crore from the first and Rs 45 lakh from the second husband, she later escaped to California with the third without him being aware of the real situation.

The woman contacted a young man from Giridoh and married him. After this, she took a crore from him and again reposted her profile on Shaadi.com by flaunting that she was unmarried. Later, she managed to trap another young man from Gujarat and started living with him. Once again, she defrauded this groom too to a tune of Rs 45 Lakh. The bride then met a third man from Pune and fled with him to California.

Now, mothers of both the Pune and Gujarat grooms have filed cases in their respective cities against the bride, alleging cheating. The case unfolded when police from Itkhori was investigating the woman’s passport. The first husband of the extortionist woman will also be filing a case of cheating against her soon.

High Court advocate Akhauri Amit, who is representing the Gujarat groom, knew exactly how the woman had defrauded the men. The con bride would cheat young men by claiming that she was unmarried and then run away with their money, without getting a legal divorce.

First Marriage With Giridoh’s Nilay Kumar

Police investigated the case of how the woman had made a fake passport by hiding the husband’s name. During this investigation, police came across that the girl first married Nilay Kumar, a resident of Giridoh, Rajdhanwar on April 27, 2015, according to Hindu customs. They got married at Hotel Element on station road, Ranchi. Within two years, the girl left her husband and escaped with nearly rupees one crore.

Second Marriage With Gujarat’s Amit Gupta

The con bride later went on to marry another guy from Gujarat, by the name of Amit Gupta, by claiming that she was unmarried. The woman also told her second husband that her family had financial issues and hence she needed money. The husband voluntarily gave her Rs 40 to 45 lakh.

Meanwhile, her first husband filed for divorce in the family court of Ranchi. However, his application got rejected on May 11, 2018.

Third Marriage With Sumit Pawar

After looting a considerable amount from the first two husbands, the lady went on to continue defrauding a third man. She told her second husband that she had to visit Delhi as her sister needed help to shift her house.

She then left the house and never returned. Somehow, the second husband, Amit, found out that his wife had remarried one Sumit Dashrath Pawar in December 2018.

Sumit’s mother learnt all details when she received a call from Amit on the girl’s phone and saw a photo of them together. The truth also unraveled when the third groom’s mother called second husband and inquired about the girl. This is when Amit told her about the fraud woman’s past.

However, by now the woman had already trapped Sumit and later the couple flew away to California. Pune police have asked Chatra police to investigate more details about the woman.
