A man from Punjab ended his life after being constantly fed up with his wife’s illicit relations. The victim hung himself in his house after he could not take it anymore.
Case:
Manjinder Singh, resident of Naka No. 2, used to work in Sri Darbar Saheb. Singh’s younger brother, Manpreet Monu, accused his sister-in-law for abetting suicide of his brother.
The victim had rented a house in Naka no. 2 in Shri Mukhtar Saheb, Punjab. A man named Satnam Singh, resided in the house next to theirs, with whom Manjinder’s wife got involved and started an affair.
When the husband learnt about this relationship, he tried to confront his wife, however, she refused. The husband tried his best to make his wife understand, however, she paid no heed.
On one occasion, the man also caught his wife red-handed. This is when when he could not accept the situation anymore. Manjinder later locked himself inside his house and ended his life.
The couple also has a 3-year-old son.
SHO of Thana city Mohan Lal said that he is investigating the case. Based on the statements given by the deceased’s brother Manpreet, a case has been registered against the wife.
